ABOUT US
I have to say that my whole life has been linked to dogs. Daughter of father hunter, in my house there have been dogs since always and they have been treated as an integral part of the family. I have grown up surrounded by English setter, épagneul breton, etc. I have seen these little creatures born since I was very young, enjoyed their company and, unfortunately, I have also suffered their loss.
When I was 16 years old I decided to buy my first dog, Elko, a Siberian husky who stole my heart. At that moment I understood that I did not want to spend a single moment of my life without the pleasure of his company. In the world of the siberian husky I belonged to a mushing association in which we carried out very interesting activities such as several sections of the Camino de Santiago. Years later i acquired two golden retriever. I must say that this is, whithout doubt, a wondeful breed full of virtues that i have enjoyed a lot throughout my live and that allowed me to meet great people linked to this breed to which i consider, to this day, great friends. With this breed i began in dog shows.

Despite all this, my dream had always been to have a Newfoundland. In a dog show in Coruña I met a puppy that I fell in love with completely and started to investigate the history and characteristics of the breed. In 2011 my parents died suddenly and that fact helped me to make the decision to acquire a Newfoundland. I met Noelia García and Luis Amador Fernández of the affix "Rain Coast" and they let my dream como true, my first newfoundland arrived at home. Since that my unconditional love for the breed has been increasing to the point of deciding to start this project.
Throughout these years we have gone to dog shows in Spain, Portugal and Europe. Our dogs perform a normal activity like run, play... but at the same time they are prepared for beauty shows. This preparation begin from they are puppies and day to day. It is an arduous task because it requires continuous obedience care, hairdressing, training, which is a great job for us because this is a hobby for us, we do not make a living with it.
The presence in this kind of events for us is very important because it is where a judge who knows what the breed should be, values certain aspects of the morphology, typology and character of the dogs The best adaptation to the standard of the breed must be the objective. Every breeder should look for a balance between morphology, character, health and utility and breeders should discard of breeding those specimens that have faults, that is, a responsible breeding, by and for the breed.
This project begin after a long study and analysis throughout these years in which I was acquiring experience, we believe that breeding should not be taken lightly. I start with passion, desire to work and continue learning, always trying to be honest with myself and with others. I hope you enjoy our website.
